Bellerive is a popular, successful and over-subscribed Catholic College for girls aged 11-18.

Our school is committed to safeguarding children and promoting children's welfare.  All posts advertised are subject to all the relevant DfE pre-employment checks set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education, including an Enhanced DBS Certificate with a Barred List Check, together with a medical screening questionnaire.  This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

Teacher of English (Fixed Term) September 2026

The Governors are seeking to appoint an ambitious and dynamic full time Teacher of English (fixed term, Maternity cover). The successful candidate will join this key department, teaching across all key stages.  The post-holder will set high expectations for all pupils, deepening their knowledge and understanding and maximising achievement in this subject area. 

Bellerive FCJ Catholic College is a highly aspirational school located In Liverpool and is a single academy where decision-making and expenditure remains within the control of the school. The Governors believe this has contributed to the school maintaining its strong, cohesive community, which inspires great loyalty from pupils and parents.
