Academic Performance

GCSE Exam Performance

Our examination results in 2022 ( the first year of public examinations since 2019) were very positive.

  • 90% of students achieved a Grade 4 or better (standard pass) in GCSE English and 82% achieved a Grade 5 or better (strong pass).
  • 77% of students achieved a Grade 4 or better in GCSE Maths and 63% of students achieved a Grade 5 or better.
  • 76% of students achieved a standard pass or better in both GCSE English and Maths.
  • 39% of our students were entered for the English Baccalaureate (English, Maths, Science, a language and a humanities GCSE

We were disappointed that our pupils did not get the opportunity to sit formal exams in Summer 2020 and 2021.  However, we are proud of the Centre Assessed Grades achieved by our pupils in Summer 2021.

A Level Performance

Our students continue to perform well and achieve the qualification s needed to reach their chosen destination.  Again our students have not had the opportunity to sit formal exams since 2019 due to Covid-19 restrictions.
