"Leaders make sure that pupils and students receive a high-quality, broad and ambitious curriculum across all key stages, including in the sixth form. Classrooms are vibrant places for pupils to learn. Pupils' behaviour in lessons is extremely positive. They are polite and respectful. Pupils are eager and curious. Pupils are resilient if they make mistakes."
We know that the move from primary to secondary school can be a stressful one. We have an experienced pastoral team in Year 7, and they will strive to ensure every student settles as quickly as possible. We have robust arrangements for Transition, we will visit your daughter in her primary school prior to her starting in Year 7. She will also have an opportunity to come to Bellerive on Transition Day. She will meet her new classmates and spend time with her new Form Teacher.
We invite every family to meet their daughter’s form tutor in the first half-term of Year 7 to ensure communication is genuinely a two-way process.
