Bellerive is a popular, successful and over-subscribed Catholic College for girls aged 11-18.

Our school is committed to safeguarding children and promoting children's welfare.  All posts advertised are subject to all the relevant DfE pre-employment checks set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education, including an Enhanced DBS Certificate with a Barred List Check, together with a medical screening questionnaire.  This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

Pastoral Lead (Support Staff Role) 

The Governors at Bellerive FCJ Catholic College are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and motivated Pastoral Lead to provide support for students and ensure the smooth running of the year group. This is a support staff role. The successful candidate for this dynamic position will also effectively track, monitor and support students’ wellbeing, behaviour, attendance and progress and liaise with external agencies to safeguard students and ensure appropriate interventions are in place.  

The successful candidate will require highly effective relationships with pupils, staff and parents, high levels of organisation and time management, alongside emotional intelligence, and empathy for student welfare and achievement.  

You will be joining a supportive, committed and passionate team who work hard to ensure that every single one of our students achieve their potential. This is a hugely exciting time to join the school and this post provides an opportunity to play an integral role in the next phase of the College’s development.
