Bellerive is a popular, successful and over-subscribed Catholic College for girls aged 11-18.

Science Technician 

The Governors are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Science Technician to join the Science Faculty at Bellerive FCJ Catholic College. This is an opportunity for a suitably qualified/experienced person to use their skills in science to support our teachers to help our pupils succeed and reach their full potential in the sciences.
There are 8 science laboratories in the department and the successful candidate will work with the Senior Science technician to support teaching and learning within the Science Faculty. The role includes the preparation and retrieval of materials and apparatus when required for demonstrations and practical work, as well as working alongside teachers to assist in practical demonstrations and experiments during lessons.

In addition, you will assist with the organisation of the Science preparation rooms, including the safe storage and disposal of chemicals, the monitoring and management of stock and supplies and the maintenance and cleaning of equipment, along with any ad hoc tasks delegated to you by the Science Faculty. Job Description 

Attendance Officer (Part Time)

The Governors are seeking to appoint an ambitious and committed part-time Attendance Officer.  The successful candidate will monitor and report on whole school attendance, including identifying key areas of concern.  The successful candidate will work closely with pupils, staff, parents and carers to reduce levels of absence to improve outcomes for young people.  The post holder will promote regular school attendance and positive engagement in education, address barriers to school attendance and ensure that statutory obligations are met.  The post holder will support the Designated Safeguarding Lead, whilst demonstrating a high level of accuracy with written records and be willing to continually develop the skills required in this important role.     

This is a term time plus INSET days (39 wks/yr) and the pro-rata salary above applies.

Job Description  

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST

The Governors are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to provide reception cover and administrative support within a busy school office. Duties include answering telephone calls, dealing with visitors to school and day to day administrative support. Knowledge of SIMS, the school’s information management system, as well as Class Charts would be advantageous.
