We were delighted to celebrate our annual Diversity Day
Bellerive celebrated its second annual ‘Diversity Day’ on 21st March. We are delighted that this event, which proved so popular with pupils last year, is now an annual fixture on the school calendar. The highlight of the day was, once again, our ‘Fashion Show’ where pupils had the opportunity to showcase their cultural dress, accompanied by a diverse musical playlist which was compiled by the pupils themselves.
In the afternoon, pupils in years 7-10 took part in a dance workshop provided by IRIE! Dance theatre. The sight of 330 young people dancing together was really a sight to behold! Students also read stories from a variety of cultures throughout the day and enjoyed a special menu for our school canteen.
