Open Evening positive feedback

Excellent feedback from Open Evening

We were delighted to welcome over 180 families to Bellerive on Thursday 21st September for our Open Evening.  We were thrilled to receive some really positive feedback from a number of the families who joined us and here are 3 of these to give you a flavour opf the welcome you can expect at Bellerive:

Family 1

“I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed tonight and how impressed my daughter was with Bellerive. We came unsure if the school would suit her but we left reassured that it would absolutely be our first choice.

The 2 girls that escorted us around the school were outstanding. I think their names were Ruby Flemming and Rosa Walsh. They really put my daughter at ease and are certainly great ambassadors for your school. After an hour with them - we were sold that Bellerive is creating confident and well rounded students. We really appreciated the efforts you all went to, especially the girls who are a credit to you all.

Family 2

“Yesterday evening my wife and I along with my daughter attended your open evening. We were very warmly invited into the reception area where staff were more than helpful to assist and simply say Hi, all very well organised. Immediately we all felt settled and my daughter's first impression before we had even seen the school was " I love it here" never in any visits to other schools has she made that comment.

After receiving a welcome gift that our daughter loved, we were directed towards pupils named Ava and Lilly. Both Ava and Lilly were absolutely amazing all evening and such a credit to themselves and your school.

Again, they made her feel so welcome, they were very polite, approachable, knowledgeable, constantly smiling and all in all both perfect School ambassadors.

They both worked so hard all evening showing us every inch of the school, again talking to our daughter every step of the way, making her laugh and simply being great.

Both Ava and Lilly then asked her if she wanted a little face paint that they would do themselves, She  was unsure but once they said, " were getting one and we will do yours if want" and she quickly jumped at the chance to be like them.

Once the evening ended, our daughter didn't stop taking about the school or the girls until she finally went to bed. This morning, she was up earlier than normal, all just to talk about the school and the impression the girls had made on her.

We as a family just want to say thank you to all the staff and especially Ava and Lilly.

We hope that she is named into the admissions for 2024 as your school is head and shoulders above the rest that we have seen, all very close to the vicinity of Bellerive”

Family 3

“We wanted to pass on our sincere thanks and appreciation for last nights opening evening! We were amazed by the school and how fabulous the two Y8 pupils who gave us the tour. Both girls are an absolute credit to the school, and we should be very proud of them as their warmth and positivity for the school has made our daughter want to choose to attend Bellerive as her 1st choice.”

Family 4

It was an honour to meet such incredible, empowered, talented, gifted and spiritual young women who are thriving in their education and school environment, they are an absolute credit to not only themselves but to the School.  We were escorted on the tour by two Year 8 students ( Grace and Sophia) and I would like to give them a very special mention as well as the girls we met after the drama performance. Both Grace and Sophia as well as the girls we met after the performance ( apologies as I do not know their names) were truly inspirational, showing real passion for their educational life, showing authenticity and were a joy to be around as they were so kind and had a wealth of top tips for a successful transition from Year 6 to Year 7.”
