Accidents are the leading cause of preventable harm and death for children and young people, which is particularly distressing, when many accidents are preventable.
We understand that this may have been a difficult time for some young people, with some still unsure about what they want to do next, or they may need help with career plans.
The May Half Term holiday activity programme is available to families who are eligible for benefits related free school meals
The Easter HAF programme starts on the 11th April and there are lots of great activities happening over the school holidays. Children and young people will be able to access hundreds of activities throughout the Easter break including specific provision available for children with SEND or additional needs, at no cost to you. There’s a great range of activities across the city including boxing, trampolining, football, music, dance, cycling, cooking, climbing, films, bowling, arts and crafts, drama, a make up course, trips out and much more! Every day there will be a meal available for every child that attends.
Students have been celebrating British Science week. These Y9 students investigated growth using spaghetti and marshmallows to build the tallest tower. Well done girls! 🙂
