We are delighted to share the exam successes of our Year 13 class of 2025
Students and staff at Bellerive FCJ Catholic College are celebrating another year of fantastic examination results, with every Year 13 pupil achieving a pass in their A level or BTEC qualifications.
This summer’s results saw 64% of all grades awarded at A* to C, 34% at A* to B and 15% at the highest A* to A grade. BTEC students particularly excelled, with more than half of all grades (54%) at Distinction or Distinction*.
Students are now looking forward to a range of exciting future options, with the vast majority securing university places alongside others moving into employment and apprenticeships. Many will attend local institutions such as the University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores, Liverpool Hope and Edge Hill, studying subjects from Biomedical Sciences and Policing to Hispanic Studies, Primary Education and Art History. Others will be heading further afield to institutions in Birmingham, York, Leeds and Lancaster, to name but a few.
Headteacher Mr Forsey said: “I am delighted for our wonderful students and for everyone involved in today’s achievements. These results reflect the hard work of our young people, the support of their families, and the dedication of their teachers. I could not be more pleased for them and, as always, it has been an absolute privilege to share their journey. We are thrilled to see so many of our Year 13 cohort progressing to a wide range of excellent universities and apprenticeships for the next stage of their education or training. We look forward to hearing about all they will accomplish in the future. They remain part of the FCJ family and hope they can help us support future generations of Bellerive students in acheiving their dreams”.
Head of Sixth Form, Miss Rowlands added: “We are incredibly proud of our Year 13 students. They have shown real dedication and commitment to their studies throughout their time at Sixth Form. We look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make in the world as they move on to their next steps”.
