We are very proud of our Y11 as they pick up their GCSE results

Celebrations are underway at Bellerive FCJ Catholic College as our Year 11s collect their GCSE and BTEC results. Across the year group, 82% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in English, and 70% achieved a grade 4 or above in Mathematics. Of all GCSE grades awarded, 20% were at grade 7 to 9, and 55% at grade 5 or above. In addition, almost 20% of vocational qualification grades were awarded distinction or higher.

Among the many notable individual successes are:

  • Constance C, who achieved four grade 9s and five grade 8s
  • Grace R, who achieved seven grade 9s, one grade 8 and one grade 7
  • Ella A, who achieved four grade 9s, three grade 8s and one grade 7
  • Mia Q, who achieved four grade 9s, three grade 8s and one grade 7
  • Mia T, who achieved three grade 9s, two grade 8s and three grade 7s
  • Daisy H, who achieved four grade 9s, two grade 8s and one grade 7
  • Louise T, who achieved one grade 9, four grade 8s and three grade 7s

We are delighted that many of our students will continue their journey at Bellerive’s sixth form to study A Levels and Level 3 BTECs. We congratulate all students on their achievements and thank our fantastic staff, governors, parents, carers, and families for their support throughout our students’ secondary education.

Headteacher Mr Forsey said:

“I am incredibly proud of every single one of our Year 11 students. It has been wonderful to celebrate their excellent results and to see how far they have come during their time at Bellerive. These results are a celebration of all that has been achieved through the combination of hard work, high-quality teaching and pastoral care, and being part of a community with a strong ethos of faith and service to others. We wish each Year 11 student well with their next steps and we know they have a wonderful future and many opportunities ahead of them.”

Deputy Headteacher Mrs Cadman added:

“It’s been such a joy to see our Year 11 students shine this year. Not only have they worked hard and made excellent academic progress, but they’ve also grown into mature, confident young women who are ready to embrace the challenges of whatever comes next. They’ve been a real pleasure to work with and we couldn’t be more excited to see where their journeys take them.”
