After successfully pitching their sustainable product, “Hyperhandz”, to Unilever judges at our Celebration & Assessment Event in March, the winners of the Unilever Bright Future Inspire Programme 2025 from Bellerive FCJ Catholic College, celebrated with a visit to Unilever Port Sunlight in June.
As part of their prize, Unilever invited the team to work with their experts in formulation, processing, CTI, holistic design and packaging. By the end of the day, Unilever had brought their winning product to life!

The day began with a visit to the lab. The team compared different natural and sustainable formulations to find the most effective blend for their product.

Bellerive FCJ designed Hyperhandz to solve problems related to nervous or excessive sweating. “It’s a unique hand/foot balm designed to tackle hyperhidrosis and support young people to become more confident and get on with their day!”

During the summer break, six of our wonderful students volunteered as part of the Archdiocese of
Liverpool's Youth Pilgrimage to Lourdes. They spent the week supporting pilgrims, building
friendships and growing in faith through acts of service and compassion.
Thank you to everyone who attended our 180th Birthday Celebration/ Alumnae Event this week! It was so lovely to see over 200 past students and staff returning to Bellerive! Thank you for all the stories, experiences and memories shared; it truly was a joyful occasion!!! More photos to follow

Grace R, Mia T, Fern B and Qurat U, along with Grace R (who asked the floor questions), all took part in the finals of the National Debate Mate in London last week.
They represented our school admirably making astute points, referring to evidence and fighting their corner with passion. Unfortunately, they did not make it to the last round but they did place third!!
Miss Holt said "Although obviously immensely proud of them, I had not fully appreciated the scale of this achievement until the number of students who have been involved in Debate Mate across the country was announced as 5000 thousand!"
