Performance Tables

In Summer 2018 , 87% of students achieved a Grade 4 or better ( standard pass) in GCSE English and 67% achieved a Grade 5 or better ( strong pass). 67% of students achieved a Grade 4 or better in GCSE Maths and 43% of students achieved a Grade 5 or better. 66% of students achieved a standard pass or better in both GCSE English and Maths. 41% of students achieved a strong pass in both English and Maths. 30% of our students were entered for the English Baccalaureate (English, Maths, Science, a language and a humanities GCSE) and 82% of eligible students achieved this.  We are currently awaiting confirmation of all other statistical measures and these will be published in due course.

In Summer 2017, 85% of students achieved a Grade 4 or better ( standard pass) in GCSE English and 73% achieved a Grade 5 or better ( strong pass). 72% of students achieved a Grade 4 or better in GCSE Maths and 53% of students achieved a Grade 5 or better. 70% of students achieved a standard pass or better in both GCSE English and Maths. 49% of students achieved a strong pass in both English and Maths. 27% of our students were entered for the English Baccalaureate (English, Maths, Science, a language and a humanities GCSE) and 60% of eligible students achieved this. Our current Progress 8 score is 0.34 and  our attainment Attainment 8 score is 48.8. 92% of our students stayed in education or entered employment at the age of 16.

In Summer 2016, 84% of students achieved a C or better in GCSE English and 75% of students achieved a C or better in GCSE Maths. 84% of students made expected progress in English and 72% of students made expected progress in Maths.70% of students achieved a C or better in both English and Maths. 66% of students achieved 5 A*-C grades at GCSE at C or above including English and Maths. 32.4% of students were entered for the English Baccalaureate (English, Maths, Science, a language and a humanities GCSE) and 22% of students achieved this . Our Progress 8 score for 2016 was 0 ( meaning students made the progress expected of them) and our Attainment 8 score is 51.3. 99% of our students stayed in education or entered employment at the age of 16, compared to the national average of 94%.

In our sixth form:

In summer 2018, 82% of students entered for examinations went to university, 19% of which went to Russell Group universities. All other students went on to an Art Foundation year at College/university, employment and/or apprenticeships.  98% of students who completed 16-18 study programmes remained in education or employment. We are still awaiting final confirmation of all other statistical measures and these will be published in due course.

In summer 2017, 88% of our 2017 students entered for examinations went to University, 17% of which went to Russell Group universities and all other students went on to an Art Foundation year at College/university, employment and/or apprenticeships.

Overall, 90% of students who completed 16-18 study remained in education or employment against a national average of 88%

The Average grade for A level qualifications is D+ against a national average of C+ and our average grade per vocational entry is Distinction *.

96.3% of students completed their study program in A level qualifications against a national average of 96.1%.  Data is not available for the other qualification types due to the size of the cohort.

The Value Added  score for Academic  A-Levels is-0.18, and for Applied General, Technical levels and Vocational qualification the VA score is +0.47.
