We were delighted to welcome Bishop Tom Williams to Bellerive recently. Bishop Tom is an old friend of the school, having served as our chaplain in the early stages of his priestly ministry. Year 11 students were fortunate to have him celebrate their pre-exam mass and he had a busy afternoon taking part in RE, History and French lessons. He was also able to take lunch in our new dining centre and took the chance to talk to a number of students across the various year groups.
Bishop Tom was also able to take the opportunity to officially open and bless 2 of our new buildings. The Sefton Park building , housing the sixth form, performing arts and humanities , was built in 2016 with support from the Mayor of Liverpool. The O’Neill building, which houses technology and science, opened in September 2017. We hope to welcome Bishop Tom back in the autumn term to open our brand new sports hall, currently under construction.
