As you can see from these pictures, reading remains at the top of the agenda for staff and students alike. Our latest whole school read took place with classes across the school dropping everything and reading ‘A Christmas Cracker’ by Jeanette Winterson.
Mrs Louden was challenged by her form class to read 30 books in 30 days. The challenge was accepted and Mrs Louden succeeded in her mission. We also saw the creation of the reading Advent calendar with each day revealing a member of staff or student and their reading choice. There was even a book-themed tree on display in the library.
We hope staff and students alike receive some reading matter as part of their Christmas gifts!
